Multi-part project integrating body knowledge and art creation to hold space for deep reflection on wounds both suffered and inflicted through systemic oppression existing in Asian communities here and in the homeland

Our Education Program for juniors and seniors in the Nepali community was created to address the gaps many students face in their academic journeys.

Broader Programming
Started in 2018 as a way to reconnect Bhutanese youth leaders from all over the US. Years later, it continues to bring and connect leaders, artists, activists, and advocates together for an immersive experience for personal and social transformation. It is a leadership program of ARU designed to build a network of vibrant Bhutanese refugee community leaders, organizers, artists, and activists by training emerging leaders to become agents of change.
The We Belong Here campaign is a call to demand the release of stateless Nepali-speaking Bhutanese refugees in ICE custody, to have the ability to stay in the U.S. and belong, and the immediate return of the community members who have been deported to a place where they face persecution and statelessness.
